Diemme’s new automatic optical grape sorting system incorporates state-of-the-art technology to sort grapes based on size, shape, color as well as stems, leaves, and other undesirable elements. The optical grape sorting system operates at 6-8 tons/hour. The sorting system contains an automatic, continuous cleaning system for the belt and is designed to facilitate access for cleaning. The touch screen control panel is intuitive and programmable.

Diemme’s grape sorting and selection equipment contain modular components to maximize flexibility and quality. Diemme offers vibrating tables with optional oversized hopper that accept ½ ton bins to distribute the clusters for sorting. Diemme also offers belt conveyors for cluster or berry sorting. The independent crusher roller system may be used after berry sorting. Diemme’s belt elevators are ideal for dumping ½ ton bins into the oversized hopper and feeding the destemmer/crusher or press.
